Based in Riyadh, he blends clinical expertise with strategy, research, and public engagement to move medicine forward. At Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group (HMG), he leads as Academic and Public Affairs Manager, shaping programs that turn knowledge into better everyday care.

Passionate about collaboration, Dr. Almohammedi believes real progress happens when sectors work together. His mission: design systems that are safe, ethical, and truly useful for patients and professionals alike. Through partnerships, hands-on initiatives, and empowering teams to test and learn, he’s helping to shape the future of healthcare.

Bridging Practice and Progress

Dr. Abdulrhman Almohammedi’s journey brings medicine and management together. He holds an Executive MBA from Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College (MBSC), a program that strengthened his leadership, operations, and decision-making skills, tools he now applies to his system-level role in healthcare.

His clinical foundation is in internal medicine. Board-certified by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties since December 2021, he began his path with an MBBS from Ibn Sina National College in 2015. Along the way, he has built a practice grounded in patient safety, clinical ethics, and evidence-based care.

Driving AI, Research, and Public Affairs at HMG

At HMG, Dr. Almohammedi leads initiatives that unite research, technology, and education. The focus is simple: take good ideas from pilot to practice. He supports research oversight as a member of the Institutional Review Board, helping ensure studies meet ethical standards and improve outcomes.

The role is hands-on. It means listening to clinicians, aligning with hospital priorities, and creating projects that teams can use on the ground. It also requires clear public communication. By engaging openly, he builds trust and shows how research and AI can address real needs in Saudi Arabia’s health system.

Through these roles, he advances standards, fosters knowledge-sharing, and promotes responsible innovation across the healthcare ecosystem.

Media & Public Engagement

Talks & Recognition

Public engagement is central to his mission. He received a Certificate of Excellence in Leadership and Dedication at MBSC. He has given talks that open honest conversations about AI, including the session titled “AI in Rheumatology: Are We Going to Lose Our Jobs?” His message is straightforward: technology should augment human judgment, not replace it.

Panels, Workshops & Community Programs

Within the Healthcare Club, he and his team curate panels and workshops that bring clinicians, entrepreneurs, and policymakers together. The goal is practical impact. Sessions end with checklists and tools that participants can use the next day, whether in a ward, a clinic, or a management office. He communicates in Arabic and English, which helps connect local insights with global practice and speak across audiences.

Rooted Values, Visible Impact

A consistent set of values guides his work. He favors evidence over hype, collaboration over silos, and long-term value over short-term wins. He focuses on launching platforms, leading national collaborations, and designing programs that accelerate AI adoption and support research-driven transformation. The aim is measurable, ethical, and human-centered progress.

These values fit the moment in Saudi healthcare. Vision 2030 calls for services that are sustainable and ready for the future. By linking academic programs, research oversight, and public affairs, he helps make this vision operational. He turns large goals into projects that people can join, test, and improve.

Looking Ahead

Dr. Almohammedi’s priorities are clear: responsible AI with strong data and safe workflows, research capacity guided by ethics and rigor, and talent development for young professionals bridging clinical and managerial roles. Each focus builds trust, strengthens teams, and improves care at scale.

In every setting, his approach is simple and effective: start with the problem, bring the right people together, use data, learn fast, and share what works. This is how he turns innovation from a buzzword into everyday practice, helping teams take pride in the care they deliver.
