Dr. Noor Alsaadoun leads biotech and digital health innovation at AlFaisal University in Riyadh. She works at the intersection of science, policy, and technology to create practical tools for care delivery. Her focus includes AI-based diagnostics, inclusive VR platforms, and national data policy infrastructure, all aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

She also contributes to cross-border research alliances and regulatory frameworks that enable ethical use of health data. Her leadership supports both institutional development and grassroots innovation, with a strong emphasis on access, compliance, and measurable outcomes.


Rooted in Knowledge, Sharpened by Experience

Dr. Alsaadoun holds a Master’s in Medical Sciences (Cancer Genetics) from the University of Calgary, Canada (2012–2018), where she contributed to clinical research in oncology. In 2017, she completed a short fellowship at Japan’s National Cancer Center in Tokyo.

She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at AlFaisal University (2024–present). Her education also includes a postgraduate programme in Innovation in Healthcare from Harvard University and a diploma in Gaming and Metaverse Technologies from Tuwaiq Academy (2022–2024).

In 2024, she joined the Women Innovators Fellowship at Georgetown University and the Atlantic Council. A Career Built on Growth and Academic Leadership

Since joining AlFaisal University in 2022, Dr. Alsaadoun has held multiple concurrent roles. She leads three core programmes: the Health Innovation Center, the Biotech Incubator, and the Data Policy Sandbox. Together, they connect academic research with clinical and commercial application.

She is also active in national innovation programmes, including Misk Foundation, MIT Solve, and the Global Health Exhibition. Her work received the Aramco Innovation Award (2021) and the Sheikh Nahyan Emerging Talent Award (2024). In 2025, she was recognised by HRH Princess Reema Bint Bandar for her contributions to the Women in Innovation Fellowship (George Washington University).
